Fixed prices, quoted in writing from a verified page count before work begins. No hourly billing on OCR or database builds.

Retained-for-the-case slots are limited and are taken in the order engagement agreements are signed.
How a quote is built
- I verify the actual page count on intake.
- I quote the fixed price from that count, in writing, before any work begins.
- If the real count differs from the estimate by more than 5 percent once work starts, I re-quote before proceeding rather than after.
Payment terms
- 50 percent on acceptance, 50 percent on delivery, for jobs over $1,000.
- Jobs at or under $1,000 are billed in full on acceptance.
- Third-party charges, such as PACER retrieval, are passed through at cost.
What is not on this list
Hosting fees, per-user seat fees, and monthly data fees, which is how most litigation-support vendors bill. A build you own has none of those. The only recurring costs on this list are the retained-for-the-case retainer, which is optional, and the annual authority refresh at Level 3, which is also optional.
