Every service on this page turns paper or scanned files into a searchable, cited database, whatever the practice area. The database itself is the AI database, built in three levels. Start wherever your matter needs and stop there, or keep going. Every price below is fixed and quoted in writing from a verified page count before work begins.

Full OCR

Send the production, digital or paper. I return fully searchable PDFs, page for page, originals untouched, with a page count you can check. Every page is read the way a person would read it, by an engine trained on millions of documents that puts a confidence score on every word, and is HIPAA eligible for medical records. It runs on Amazon Web Services, nothing homemade.

  • Digital files you send: $0.06 per page, $250 minimum.
  • Paper I scan: $0.15 per page, $350 minimum.

Transcription

Diarized, word-timestamped transcripts of hearings, depositions, interviews, and recorded calls or body-cam footage, delivered as a time-coded transcript plus a searchable table loaded into your case database, with a QA pass by me before delivery.

Build level 1: Lookup

The OCR'd production loaded into a PostgreSQL database on hardware you own, with search by a word, a name, a date, or what a passage means, and an assistant that answers questions cited to document and page.

  • $1,000 per matter plus $100 per 1,000 pages.

Build level 2: Investigative

Level 1 plus the layers for case work: a roster of every person and organization in the file, a dated chronology, an evidence manifest with Bates lookup, a second pass that puts the right pages first, and an assistant that remembers what has been confirmed between sessions. Delivered with a first-pass chronology and a contradictions list.

  • $3,500 per matter plus $200 per 1,000 pages.

Build level 3: Litigation-ready

Level 2 plus the law of your practice area loaded beside the evidence: Oregon statutes with full text, administrative rules, UTCR and local rules, appellate opinions, Attorney General opinions, bench books, and forms, all searchable together with your record, with a written inventory of every source and edition.

  • Level 2 plus $6,000 per practice area. Additional practice area $2,000. Annual authority refresh $1,000 per area. Federal corpus add-on $2,500.

Retained for the case

If you would rather not run anything, I build the database on my own equipment, keep it live for the life of the case, and stay on as your investigator. When new records show up mid-case, they go into the database and connect to everything already there the same day. Slots are limited and are taken in the order engagement agreements are signed.
